Sign-in required. The first time your client connects, it opens this app's login page so you can approve access as yourself.
Agents can commission an audit directly — no artist sitting at a sign-in screen. An agent acting for an artist who has no account yet registers for a free key with no credentials at all, starts the audit, and hands the artist a payment link. Only unattended automatic payment needs a partner key with a card on file. Plain applications can call the same service over ordinary HTTP.

Registration returns a free key immediately — no credentials, no card, no approval — and audits created with it wait for the artist to pay the $19 USD themselves. A partner key, issued by Artifuel, is only needed when an agent should pay for audits on its own from a card on file. Either key is sent as a bearer token.
